We’re proud to recognize Andrew Ricard on graduating from the ApprenticeshipNH Carpentry Program through the Community College System of New Hampshire and Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire/Vermont. In recognition of his strong performance and continued growth in the field, Andrew was promoted from Carpenter Apprentice to Carpenter this past January—an achievement earned ahead of his official graduation and a reflection of both his skill and leadership on the job. This rigorous, multi-year apprenticeship combines more than 6,000 hours of on-the-job training with comprehensive classroom instruction, equipping participants with the technical expertise and real-world experience essential to the carpentry trade. Throughout his time in the program, Andrew demonstrated exceptional dedication—balancing his full-time role at DEW with evening coursework while committing additional hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the demands of the curriculum. Now applying those skills in the field, Andrew is currently working with the team on the new Rochester Circuit Court in Rochester, New Hampshire—a 32,452-square-foot facility—where he continues to contribute to project success while further developing his craft. As May comes to a close, DEW Construction recognizes Mental Health Awareness Month—a reminder that mental well-being is essential to the strength, safety, and success of our industry. At DEW, this is not just a moment on the calendar. Mental health is part of our daily reality—on our jobsites, in our offices, and in the way we support one another. Creating an environment where employees feel respected, supported, and comfortable asking for help is fundamental to how we work and how we succeed as a team. Tight schedules, physically challenging environments, long hours, and the responsibility of maintaining safety—for ourselves and others—can take a toll over time. DEW Construction Promotes Shane Snyder to Superintendent
DEW Construction is proud to announce the promotion of Shane Snyder from Assistant Superintendent to Superintendent. Since joining DEW just over two years ago, Shane has become a trusted and respected member of the team. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, he brings strong field leadership, a commitment to quality, and a proactive, organized approach to project coordination. During his time at DEW, Shane has contributed to several significant projects, including The MAREK South in Lebanon, NH; the Dartmouth Sailing Center in Enfield, NH; and Settlers Common in North Conway, NH. He is known for his effective subcontractor coordination, attention to quality control, and consistent use of Procore to maintain clear documentation and organized project workflows. “Shane brings a strong work ethic and takes ownership of his responsibilities,” said Cameron Riley, General Superintendent at DEW Construction. “He works extremely well with both our trade partners and internal teams, and this promotion reflects the leadership and professionalism he demonstrates on every project.” DEW Construction congratulates Shane on his well‑deserved promotion and looks forward to his continued contributions in his new role as Superintendent.

Reflecting on 2025 — and Looking Ahead Together
As the first few weeks of 2026 come to a close, we’ve taken time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the moments that made the past year so meaningful. 2025 was a year defined by progress—and, above all, by our people. We launched new projects, celebrated major milestones, and witnessed teams and individuals grow in remarkable ways. While not every success makes a highlight reel, it’s the everyday dedication, collaboration, and care behind the scenes that truly shaped the year. Through busy seasons and pivotal moments, our teams showed up—not only for their work, but for one another. Along the way, we also made time to come together and celebrate. Highlights included our first‑ever Employee Field Day at the beautifully renovated Retreat Farm North Barn—a DEW project completed in 2024—with GameOn VT bringing the extra fun. We wrapped up the year with holiday gatherings across northern New England, including celebrations at Otto’s Food & Drink in Keene, NH; Switchback Brewery in Burlington, VT; and the Hammer Pub and Grille in Portsmouth, NH.
