We’re proud to recognize Andrew Ricard on graduating from the ApprenticeshipNH Carpentry Program through the Community College System of New Hampshire and Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire/Vermont.
In recognition of his strong performance and continued growth in the field, Andrew was promoted from Carpenter Apprentice to Carpenter this past January—an achievement earned ahead of his official graduation and a reflection of both his skill and leadership on the job.
This rigorous, multi-year apprenticeship combines more than 6,000 hours of on-the-job training with comprehensive classroom instruction, equipping participants with the technical expertise and real-world experience essential to the carpentry trade.
Throughout his time in the program, Andrew demonstrated exceptional dedication—balancing his full-time role at DEW with evening coursework while committing additional hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the demands of the curriculum.
Now applying those skills in the field, Andrew is currently working with the team on the new Rochester Circuit Court in Rochester, New Hampshire—a 32,452-square-foot facility—where he continues to contribute to project success while further developing his craft.
Andrew was recently honored at a graduation ceremony held at Manchester Community College alongside fellow Spring 2026 graduates. Supported by ApprenticeshipNH and the college’s Workforce Development Center, the program plays a critical role in developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals across our region.
Through his experience, Andrew has strengthened his technical expertise across core carpentry disciplines, expanded his industry knowledge, and further demonstrated the work ethic that drives success in the field.
Andrew’s achievement—and his earlier promotion—reflect the dedication, perseverance, and pride in craftsmanship we value at DEW. We look forward to his continued growth and the contributions he will continue to make across our projects and teams.
Please join us in congratulating Andrew on this outstanding accomplishment.
