DEW Construction’s internship program continues to play an important role in how we develop talent and support long-term growth across our teams. By providing hands-on experience in the field and exposure to day-to-day project operations, the program creates meaningful opportunities for students to learn, contribute, and explore careers in construction.
Two recent examples highlight the impact of this approach—Rosey Thompson’s transition into a full-time role and Joseph Musumarra’s return for a second summer with DEW.
Last summer, Rosey joined DEW as an intern while completing her degree in Psychology with a minor in Plant Biology at the University of Vermont. During her time with the team, she gained hands-on field experience on our Bay Ridge Apartments project in Shelburne, Vermont, and developed a strong understanding of how DEW projects are delivered.
Following her graduation, Rosey has joined DEW full-time as a Project Engineer based out of our Williston, Vermont office. Her transition reflects the kind of growth and opportunity our internship program is designed to support.
We’re also pleased to welcome back Joseph Musumarra for another summer with DEW. A Construction Management student at Vermont State University – Randolph, Joseph is supporting our MAREK North project in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where he continues to build on his field experience and gain exposure to project coordination and daily operations.
We’re proud to congratulate Rosey on her graduation and new role, and excited to welcome Joseph back for another summer with the team.
