We are excited to share that DEW Construction has reached a new milestone in our commitment to worksite wellness! After earning Bronze in 2023 and Silver in 2024, this year we are honored to receive the 2025 Vermont Governor’s Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award – Gold Level, presented by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
This prestigious recognition celebrates Vermont employers who go above and beyond to foster a healthy workplace, boost productivity, and support employee wellbeing. Achieving Gold Level reflects our dedication to creating a culture where our people feel healthier, happier, and supported every day.
On October 31, our HR & Risk Manager, Trisha Moore, HR & Risk Assistant, Aimee Plotczyk, and Safety Manager, Kamron Bushway, proudly represented DEW at the awards ceremony held at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. The event brought together leaders from across the state to share best practices and celebrate organizations committed to wellness.
Our journey from Bronze to Silver to Gold is a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team—especially Trisha, Aimee, and Kamron. Trisha and Aimee lead the charge in creating meaningful wellness initiatives, from mental health resources and fitness challenges to financial wellbeing programs. Meanwhile, Kamron plays a vital role in the field, ensuring that safety and wellness go hand-in-hand on our jobsites. Together, they make sure our programs support every aspect of employee wellbeing—both in the office and in the field.
Join us in celebrating this incredible achievement and our ongoing commitment to Building What Matters Most—starting with the wellbeing of our people!
