Last week, the DEW Construction team, along with our trade partners, attended a heartfelt Thank You Breakfast at Bow Elementary School in New Hampshire. Hosted by the students and staff, the event was organized to express gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful completion of the addition and renovation project. The morning was filled with memorable performances, including singing, poem readings, and artwork that showcased the students’ creativity and appreciation.
Our team found it incredibly heartwarming to hear the students express their excitement and gratitude for their new spaces. DEW extends our sincere thanks to Bow Elementary School and the Bow & Dunbarton School District for organizing this special event. We are deeply grateful for this gesture and will always cherish the experience. It has been an honor to be part of this transformative project, and we look forward to its continued positive impact on the Bow community for years to come. Project Highlights
In October 2023, DEW broke ground on the highly anticipated Bow Elementary School Addition and Renovations project. This project aimed to address the needs of the growing student population and enhance the overall learning environment.
The centerpiece of the project included the construction of an 8-classroom addition totaling 12,850 square feet. This addition featured a new elevator and a partial basement to improve accessibility and accommodate a fire pump and sprinkler riser.
DEW also managed a 57,546-square-foot interior renovation focused on safety and security enhancements. This included installing secure classroom doors and a central vestibule with a new access system to monitor and control entry and exit points, ensuring the safety of everyone on the premises. The administrative offices were redesigned to create a modern and functional workspace for the staff.
Additionally, the project upgraded the school’s fire protection and alarm systems to meet current safety regulations. Acoustical ceilings were installed to improve sound quality and reduce noise levels, providing a better learning environment for students. The bathroom facilities were renovated to enhance functionality and aesthetics, and electrical upgrades were made throughout the school.
