This project showcases a seamless blend of historic preservation and modern residential design on a highly constrained site.
The scope included the full renovation of a 1897 carriage house, transforming the 3,600-square-foot, three-level structure into housing for 20 students while maintaining its original architectural character.
To complement the restored building, a new 18,000 square foot, four‑level dormitory was constructed to mirror the aesthetic of the 1897 carriage house. This new residence hall provides modern amenities and accommodates an additional 75 students.
