About Chris brings over 30 years of industry experience to his role as DEW’s Vice President of Business Development for our Northern Region. Chirs is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships throughout northern Vermont, northern New Hampshire, and Upstate New York. With a 17-year tenure with DEW, Chris has advanced from Project Engineer to Vice President of Field Operations throughout that time. Chris’s deep knowledge of DEW’s operations and culture, along with his strong client relationships, are instrumental in driving the company’s business development efforts across the Northern Region. Experience Chris possesses extensive expertise in managing complex projects from inception to completion. Raised in a construction family in Massachusetts, he gained early exposure to the industry through his family’s diverse roles, including well drilling, development, plumbing, cabinet making, and construction supervision. Following his college education, Chris served as a manager at American Skiing Company, overseeing up to 70 employees and managing 11 distinct budgets. This experience honed his skills in people management, organizational structure, process optimization, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making. Chris then embarked on his career with DEW, starting as a field engineer. Over the years, he rapidly acquired knowledge in commercial construction and progressively assumed greater responsibilities, culminating in his current role. His journey at DEW exemplifies his commitment, expertise, and leadership within the industry.

Wynter Edwards
About As Marketing Director, Wynter manages the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications strategy for DEW. Wynter has been with DEW since 2015 and possesses the ultimate “can do” attitude while taking on all tasks with enthusiasm and positivity. Wynter is a strategic and creative thinker. She is a passionate people person who values collaboration and teamwork. She is deeply committed to DEW’s success and our company culture. From brand management to the art of storytelling and creating engaging social content and marketing collateral, Wynter ensures that DEW is positioned as a leader in the marketplace across all channels. Additionally, Wynter oversees the development of all Business Development proposals and qualification material. Experience Wynter’s introduction to the construction industry began at a young age, spending time with her father in his workshop and on his job sites as he was a superintendent for DEW for many years. Wynter spent several years after college pursuing a career in hospitality, working in Vail, Colorado, and managing a restaurant and inn on Lake Champlain in Vermont before joining DEW in 2015.
Brian Gallagher
About As Director of Business Development, Brian is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships throughout Maine and the Seacoast. Active in the construction management and real estate industry for over 25 years, along with much enthusiasm, Brian brings invaluable experience to DEW’s Business Development team. He maintains a large network of consultants, brokers, engineers, designers and financial professionals in the New Hampshire construction market. Experience Before he joined DEW Construction, Brian managed and directed all sales and marketing activities for Sullivan Construction, more than doubling sales for the company to $28M under his leadership. Prior to that, he served as Business Development Manager for Dacon Corporation, at which he established and grew the company’s market share across multiple states, with a focus on increasing volume in the areas of biotechnology, laboratory, medical, and commercial real estate. Brian has deep experience in commercial real estate, having served as a Partner at Coldstream Real Estate Advisors in New Hampshire, and as a Vice President of Brokerage Services at CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners in Boston.
Pete Kelley
About Pete brings deep expertise in managing technically complex projects to DEW. A natural relationship builder, he is a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills who thrives on customer satisfaction. Joining DEW over a decade ago, Pete is responsible for maintaining strategic partnerships throughout northern Vermont, northern New Hampshire, and Upstate New York. Experience Pete’s wide-ranging experience goes back almost 40 years, spanning the construction, technical, and telecommunications industries in Vermont. A civil engineer by training, he served in many managerial roles throughout his career, from project management to estimating to business development, earning himself a deep understanding of project analysis and planning. In 1998, he joined K&S Communications in Champlain, New York, where he became a founding member of a senior leadership team that created PrimeLink, a non-regulated CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) and managed wholesale channel development and sales strategy. Most recently, he was with General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products in Williston, VT, where he served as Program Manager. There he was responsible for the execution of major defense programs and projects ranging in value between $1 million and $1 billion — overseeing budgets, scheduling and technical performance, and directing all phases of work from inception through completion.
Matthew Wheaton
About As Executive Vice President and Principal, Matt oversees Estimating, Business Development, and Marketing. He is responsible for allocating resources within these departments to ensure each project is successful. As a member of DEW’s Leadership Team and Board of Directors, Matt helps guide DEW’s decision-making, strategy, and corporate goals. With vast industry experience, Matt has extensive expertise in healthcare, education, multifamily housing, manufacturing, and commercial construction. His background in design, total project budgeting, and project management makes him a valuable resource for our clients as well as our staff at DEW. Matt excels in maintaining positive client relationships and presenting owners with innovative solutions for their projects. Experience Matt’s successful career in the construction industry began even before college — as a carpenter’s apprentice, where he was first exposed to all facets of residential construction. He went on to pursue the field of architecture, graduating with honors and receiving his Master of Architecture from Norwich University.
