As General Superintendent, Matt provides leadership and oversight for DEW’s field operations out of the Williston, Vermont office. He leads field planning efforts and supports project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Matt oversees and mentors Superintendents, Foremen, and Tradespeople, guiding teams through all phases of construction. Under his leadership, projects are consistently completed on schedule and within budget, with a strong focus on quality and owner satisfaction. He is committed to upholding DEW’s safety and quality standards while proactively and collaboratively addressing challenges in the field.
Experience
Matt began his career with DEW more than 24 years ago as a Carpenter’s Helper and has advanced steadily through the field. His roles have included Carpenter, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, and now General Superintendent. With over 28 years of experience in the construction industry, Matt brings deep field knowledge and a practical, solutions‑driven perspective to every project.
Matt values the collaborative nature of construction and the responsibility that comes with leading teams in the field. Known for his steady leadership, sound judgment, and problem‑solving skills, he is a trusted resource for both DEW project teams and clients and leads with a strong commitment to quality, accountability, and safety.
Life Outside DEW
Matt enjoys spending quality time with his family, hunting, fishing, playing cornhole, coaching his children’s little league teams, and working on various building projects in his shop.
