General Testimonials
Ilona Blanchard, Special Projects Director, City of South Burlington, Vermont – GSA – VHA Fit-Up
For a small job, this project had a large degree of complexity and a demanding client. DEW demonstrated expertise in working with higher end green materials and energy efficient equipment. From sound attenuation to finish (level 4), and from unexpected existing building challenges to unusual and last minute requests, the entire DEW team maintained a professional, can do, just call me attitude and produced a high-quality counseling facility for our area veterans. I would not hesitate to recommend DEW Construction Corp. for a contract again with the City of South Burlington.
Robert J. Rea, Jr., Director of Construction
On behalf of the State of Vermont, I would like to express our appreciation to DEW Construction Corp. for the beautiful rest area that they recently completed on I-89 in Sharon Vermont. That new facility, which also serves as the Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial, is one that we all should be very proud of. The uniqueness and complexities of the design are a tribute to the abilities of the Architect, Timothy Smith & Associates, but DEW Construction, and their many subcontractors, met the challenges head on and made an ingenious concept become a reality.
Robert J. Rea, Jr., Director of Construction, State of Vermont, Sharon Rest Area
DEW Construction, and their many subcontractors, met the challenges head on and made an ingenious concept become reality. On-site sewage treatment and recycling, along with groundwater heat source technology, added to the already challenging design elements. Please extend our gratitude to the DEW team for all of their efforts in making this one-of-a-kind project a success.
Gary Dillon, Fire Chief, Waterbury Fire Station
The new fire station not only survived the flood from Tropical Storm Irene, it came through with flying colors. We were open the morning of the flood to be able to support the Village of Waterbury residents who were devastated by the flooding. For over two weeks, members of this small volunteer fire department operated about 16 hours a day providing a service to the community. Had it not been for the new stations and the flood mitigation systems, this would not have been possible. The building is a complete system, and the system came through for the fire department and the community it serves.
