DEW Recipient of Excellence in Construction Award
DEW is excited to announce that last night we received an Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT 2022 Excellence in Construction Award for our Burr and Burton Academy Founders Hall project in Manchester, Vermont! Congratulations to our entire team at DEW, Burr and Burton Academy, KaTO, and ZGF Architects, as well as all of the engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, who helped design and construct this artistic marvel! Burr and Burton Academy envisioned a building that would support its 21st-century educational goals while honoring the historic architecture on campus. The entire team worked collaboratively throughout the project in order to capture the essence of the Academy’s vision and honor the investment made by the late Barry and Wendy Rowland. The outcome is an artistic masterpiece that will last for generations. Founders Hall is a building that the Burr and Burton community, the Rowland Family, DEW, the design team, and all the subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers can truly be proud of. What drives DEW is the opportunity to build something beautiful while also helping to realize the dreams of our customers and the architects who design their buildings. Unique projects like Founders Hall push the limits of “normal” construction and, as a result, make constructing them very rewarding!
