DEW is proud to recognize six team members who recently completed the Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire/Vermont (ABC NH/VT) Future Leaders in Construction (FLiC) program—an experience designed to strengthen the next generation of leaders in the industry. Graduates from DEW’s Vermont and New Hampshire teams were recognized during separate ABC NH/VT ceremonies, marking the completion of a program that challenges participants to grow as leaders while building meaningful connections across the construction community. The 2026 DEW graduates include: Cole Russell, Project Engineer Dominic Liscinsky, Carpenter Trisha Moore, Vice President of Human Resources Mitch Laferriere, Financial Controller Josh Carrien, Foreman Wynter Edwards, Marketing Director Throughout the eight-month program, participants committed time outside of their day-to-day responsibilities to strengthen their leadership approach, expand their perspective, and collaborate with peers from across the construction industry. Bringing together professionals from the field to the office, the program emphasizes self-awareness, communication, and leadership style—helping participants better understand how they contribute to their teams and organizations. Each participant also completes a real-world return-on-investment (ROI) project, applying what they’ve learned directly to their work. At DEW, that kind of growth matters. Wynter Edwards Promoted to Marketing Director
DEW Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of Wynter Edwards from Business Development Manager to Marketing Director. Wynter has been with DEW for over seven years and possesses the ultimate “can do” attitude while taking on all tasks with positive energy and a smile. She is a hard worker and cares deeply about our company’s success. “It is not a surprise to anyone who has worked with Wynter that she’s capable and ready for the challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities the position brings, and the management team knows she’s going to improve us!” – Matt Wheaton, Executive Vice President. In her new role, Wynter will manage the development and implementation of our integrated marketing and communications strategy. From brand management to the art of storytelling and creating engaging social content and marketing collateral, Wynter will ensure that DEW is positioned as a leader in the marketplace across all channels. Wynter will also continue overseeing the development of all Business Development proposals and qualification material. Wynter graduated in 2010 from Castleton University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Management, and Marketing.

Groundbreaking for Cheshire County Courthouse Attracts Crowds
Mike Francis, CFO, joins members of the Task Force and MEDC to officially Break Ground for the new Cheshire County Courthouse. Keene, NH -The new county courthouse in Keene is making headlines with the promise of improved court operations and new jobs following the excitement of the groundbreaking ceremony on November 2nd. MacMillin helped kick off the construction phase of the project that has been 10 years in planning. Jack Dugan of Monadnock Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) led the ceremony, and was joined at the podium by Mayor Kendall Lane, Commissioner Jack Pratt, Senator Molly Kelly and MacMillin’s CFO, Mike Francis. Other attendees included members of the MEDC Board, Keene City Council Members, Keene’s City Manager, and many more. In 2009, the Superior Court was almost moved to Jaffrey, NH’s District Court in an attempt to save the State money and consolidate court operations. A local task force worked together to keep the District, Probate and Superior Courts in Keene. MEDC selected MacMillin as their construction manager to oversee construction of the 40,000 square-foot building located in Keene’s city center. MacMillin plans to keep the community thriving, creating several jobs for local businesses. Senator Molly Kelly reported that this project should provide over 60 new construction jobs.
