1997 – DEW Construction Founded
President Don Wells has always understood that the long-term success of DEW is dependent upon client satisfaction. He founded DEW on that guiding principle and a commitment to earn your trust, respect, and, ultimately, your partnership.
2012 – DEW Acquires The MacMillin Company
The acquisition of MacMillin, a 66-year-old construction company based out
of Keene, NH, allowed DEW to integrate resources, capabilities, and industry
expertise while creating growth opportunities for employees. Our people are
at the core of our success. With an average of 15 years’ tenure, growing from
within is deeply ingrained within our culture.
DEW employs over 130 people and has become one of the region’s largest and most respected construction companies serving VT, NH, ME, MA, and upstate NY. Client satisfaction is the most important and fulfilling part of what we do every day. Our approach is guided by DEW’s core values and built around seven key initiatives, Communication, People, Process, Safety, Accountability, Partnerships, and Community.
Communication – Communication is our most precious commodity and critical to the success of all aspects of our business/project approach.
People – Our people are our lifeblood. They are dedicated, experienced, skilled professionals at their chosen craft. Many are homegrown, with an average of 15 years of tenure. Passing on knowledge and growing from within is deeply ingrained within our culture.
Process – As technology advances we continue to refine our processes to ensure that we are meeting the unique needs and challenges of each project in the most effective and efficient manner. Our collaborative approach differentiates us in the market and allows us to build lasting partnerships built on mutual trust.
Safety – Safety is a way of life at DEW. There is nothing more important. Our site-specific safety plan is paramount in the execution of every project.
Accountability – We build trust every day through meeting our commitments and being 100% accountable for our actions.
Partnership – Partnerships are a responsibility that we take very seriously. Our role is to share with each client our decades of experience, lessons learned, industry knowledge and our steadfast commitment to finding the best solutions. This is facilitated through collaboration with all team members working toward a shared common goal.
Community – Binds us.
