DEW Construction is thrilled to announce the promotion of Colby Luopa and Nick Pease from Assistant Superintendents to Superintendents.
Colby joined our team as a Project Engineer nearly eight years ago and was later promoted to Assistant Superintendent. Since day one, Colby has impressed us with his drive, work ethic, and leadership abilities.
Colby graduated from Southern Maine Community College with an A.S. in Applied Science with a focus in Construction Technology. He is OSHA 10 and 30 certified, and in 2021 he completed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Naval Facility Engineering Command Training course, Construction Quality Management for Contractors.
“Colby was an Assistant Superintendent on the $32 million Maplewood Nursing Home project in Westmoreland, NH, last year and is now supervising the Cheshire County EMS Facility in Keene, NH, where he has proven his abilities even further. Colby’s ability to bring people together as a team, set goals and expectations, and execute are some, but not the only reasons he is moving to the next step in his career today.” — Dan Riley, General Superintendent.
In March of this year, Nick Pease joined DEW as an Assistant Superintendent. Nick swiftly exhibited his leadership skills and eager willingness to take initiative.
Nick is OSHA 30 certified and has completed the Associated Builders and Contractors Future Leaders in Construction program.
“It is an honor and a privilege to promote Nick Pease to Superintendent. Nick has incredible energy and is continually striving for greatness. Nick has recently been working on two projects for Dartmouth College. This next step in his career comes as no surprise to the many of us who have worked with him. His leadership abilities, team building skills, and depth of knowledge of the construction industry are nothing short of impressive.” — Dan Riley, General Superintendent.
As Superintendents, Colby and Nick manage, coordinate, and oversee the work of the DEW field staff and subcontractors on projects. They are responsible for all production aspects of the work in a timely and cost-effective manner and for maintaining a work environment that is safe and orderly.
