We are thrilled to announce that DEW Construction has been honored with an Associated Builders and Contractors New Hampshire/Vermont 2024 Excellence in Construction Award for our outstanding work on the Army Mountain Warfare School project in Jericho, Vermont!
This state-of-the-art facility spans an impressive 82,000 gross square feet and is constructed with a durable steel frame. It boasts a wide range of amenities, including classrooms, offices, conference rooms, a three-story climbing wall, a 5,000-square-foot drill hall, an Olympic IFSC-certified 15m speed wall, a dining area with an industrial kitchen, comfortable lounge areas, and billets for 174 personnel.
The training facility is specifically designed to equip soldiers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively operate in mountainous and cold weather conditions. The school offers a variety of courses, including basic, advanced, and specialty mountain warfare training, as well as mission-specific training for both United States and foreign military forces.
With its stunning design, sustainable features, and advanced amenities, the new facility is a true testament to what can be accomplished when vision, collaboration, and determination come together.
A huge congratulations to our fantastic team and all our partners who collaborated on this project, as well as to all the other award recipients this year. Special thanks to ABC NH/VT for organizing such a memorable event year after year. Thank you for all you do for our industry.
