DEW Construction Corp. recently won gold at the Vision Awards ceremony at Constructech’s 2013 Vision Awards in the Builder/GC Commercial $101 million to $250 million category and Trimbell Navigation was honored as its Technology Partner for this achievement. Karen Wells, Business Process Consultant and Integration Specialist and Dan Cogswell, IT Director received the award on behalf of DEW.
The Constructech Vision Awards acknowledge companies that have stayed up to date on the latest trends and products in order to make decisions that have helped their business succeed and thrive. Alongside these winners, the hardware and software suppliers that play a vital role helping the finalists achieve their goals were honored as well.
DEW received this award for its implementation of a web-based document management and workflow software, Prolog Converge, on a large scale project. “Prolog Converge is an invaluable tool – allowing us to collaborate with all of our team partners – no matter how diverse their systems and organization are.” Says Karen Wells, Business Process Consultant and Integration Specialist for DEW. “It allows role-based access to all key project information including cost control, document control, reporting and field administration – all in one central location.” DEW continues to use the software on all of its projects.
Constructech magazine honored all of the Vision Award winners on October 4th during its annual Technology Day conference in Santa Clara, CA. Companies eligible for the honors were involved in residential, commercial, and heavy construction, and also included professionals in all trades, architectural and engineering firms, corporate owners, facility management companies, government agencies, and land developers.
