Don Wells, President of DEW Construction Corp. in Williston,VT was elected President of The Associated General Contractors of Vermont at its annual meeting in Burlington on December 4, 2007.
Wells, Vice President of AGC for the past year replaces outgoing President Mike McLaughlin who passed the gavel to incoming President Wells in a ceremony at the annual dinner meeting held at the Burlington Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center.
In taking the helm of the 47-year-old organization, Wells emphasized the great career opportunities in the construction industry and encouraged the audience to work with their local education systems to educate young people on the viability of the construction trades.
