Town of Saint Albans, Vermont gets new Town Hall on Saint Albans Bay.
Having outgrown the original town hall built in the 1890s, the Town went to the voters to approve the new construction of a 13,040, single-story, wood-framed Town Hall that would accommodate their needs and be more accessible to visitors.
The new building features a larger vault to store municipal documents, modern heating and cooling systems, exterior thin brick and stone veneer, cement board siding, membrane and metal roofing, and acoustical ceilings. The facility includes several green features, including an especially tight building envelope, all-LED lighting, and environmentally friendly finishes.
