New 191,000 SF correctional facility with federal level security and advanced communication technology.
The building includes a sally port, inmate processing department, and temporary holding cells. The project required significant sitework in advance of construction to clear the unsuitable soils and stabilize the steep hill-side site for construction. The building was built to LEED® Silver standards and includes a geothermal well system. Extensive pre-construction services were provided, working with the county and the design team to facilitate site selection and provide cost-saving alternatives.
The project received an Excellence in Construction Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire Award in 2011
