The MacMillin Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Ken Hoeppner to Vice President and the promotion of Nathan Madden to Project Engineer. Hoeppner joins the senior management team of MacMillin’s parent company, DEW Construction. Madden joins the project team managing the construction of the new Cheshire County Courthouse in Keene.
Mr. Hoeppner will be responsible for managing MacMillin’s Keene headquarters. Currently, Hoeppner is applying his more than 30 years’ experience in construction management to business development efforts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Hoeppner has worked as a project manager on numerous projects including Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, VT. Under Hoeppner’s leadership, MacMillin has been awarded several projects including a medical library for Dartmouth College, and a renovation of the Franklin Library.
Mr. Madden brings several years of field experience to his position. Madden worked as a surveyor, a laborer and a foreman, and has a degree in Construction Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

MacMillin also has great admiration and wishes a happy retirement to two longtime employees. Both Vietnam vets, Peter Bonneau has retired after 29 years of service and Stanley Berdinka has retired after 34 years of service. Bonneau served as a Project Manager on many notable projects in Keene including the renovation and addition of the United Church of Christ and the new Sophia’s Hearth Family Center. He also managed the award winning, zero net energy, and historic restoration of a private home in Dublin, NH, with Daniel V. Scully Architects which was published in NH Home magazine’s March issue. Berdinka’s contributions to the industry include serving as Project Engineer for some of MacMillin’s largest projects including the new 91,000 sf Cheshire County House of Corrections, the new 171,000 sf Keene Middle School and the 340,000 sf Brattleboro, VT Schools
