New construction of a 16,800 sf structure houses a basketball court, weight room, yoga studio, ski waxing room, equipment storage, locker rooms and a social space. The new field house features composting toilets, rain water management, super insulation, automatic light controls, a solar summer hot water heater, and a state-of-the-art air-to-air heat exchange pump powered by sun-tracking photovoltaic cells – qualifying the project for a U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED® Platinum rating.
